Ireland to host Special Olympics


KOTA KINABALU: Ireland will be saying “cead miler failte” or “100,000 welcomes” to more than 7,000 athletes at the 11th Special Olympics World Summer Games in Dublin from this June 21-29, the country's biggest ever sporting event. 

Irish Ambassador to Malaysia Daniel Mulhall said the Games would also be the biggest international sporting event of the year.
