WARSAW: One person died and several others were wounded on Sunday in violent clashes between rival gangs of football supporters in the southwestern city of Wroclaw.
Police officers were forced to intervene when rival fans began attacking each other with axes and knives during the league match between Slask Wroclaw and Arka Gdynia, a police spokesman told the PAP news agency.
