RANCHO MIRAGE (California): Patricia Meunier Lebouc pounced on a late lapse by world number one Annika Sorenstam of Sweden to lead by two shots after the second round of the US$1.6mil Kraft Nabisco Championship on Friday.
The French player fired a four-under 68, equal best of the day, to finish six-under on 138 and move two strokes ahead of Sorenstam (72) at the first women’s major of the season.
