RANCHO MIRAGE (California): Annika Sorenstam and Pak Se-ri, easily the top two in the women’s game, will step up their rivalry in the first major of the season, the Kraft Nabisco championship at Mission Hills which started yesterday.
Sorenstam’s goal is to win the title for a record third time in a row but the 25-year-old South Korean indicated she could be ready to step out of the Swede’s shadow after her victory in last week’s build-up tournament in Phoenix.
