BOLTON: Bolton's hopes of avoiding relegation received a huge boost here on Monday as Nigerian star Jay Jay Okocha scored an injury-time penalty to give them a deserved 1-0 victory over a lacklustre Spurs.
Okocha's coolly taken penalty – after Gary Doherty had fouled Youri Djorkaeff – pushed Bolton two points clear of third from bottom West Ham and gave them their first ever Premiership victory over Spurs, who suffered another blow to their European hopes as they went down to their third successive defeat.
