Kahn and wife on trial separation

BERLIN: Bayern Munich and Germany goalkeeper Oliver Kahn said yesterday he was leaving his wife Simone in a trial separation after admitting having an affair with a 21-year-old woman. 

The 33-year-old Germany skipper told the Bild daily they hoped to get together again. 

His 31-year-old wife has just had a baby boy, David. They already have a four-year-old daughter Katharina-Maria.  

Kahn said he did not know if he would carry on seeing the other woman. – AFP
