Daly try hitting across a river

PITTSBURGH: John Daly, the longest hitter on the US PGA Tour, will try to slam a golf ball across the Monongahela River here on May 5 to help promote a PGA charity golf event.

Daly will be trying to smash the shot at least 289m on the fly to avoid a splashdown outside the University of Pittsburgh Sports Performance Center.
