TOKYO: Japan striker Naohiro Takahara won a second Player of the Year award for 2002 on Friday in the annual poll of Japanese football writers.
Takahara, who joined German Bundesliga club Hamburg SV in January, had already picked up the J-League Player of the Year award three months ago after helping Jubilo Iwata become Japanese champions for the third time.
