PETALING JAYA: The FA of Malaysia (FAM) are hoping the Stadium Board will improve the pitch conditions at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil before Chelsea, Birmingham and Newcastle United come down for the inaugural FA Premier League (FAPL) Asia Cup scheduled in July.
Datuk Dell Akbar Khan, the secretary general of the FAM, said yesterday that the conditions of the pitch now was not conducive for good football and they were concerned whether the situation would improve before the high profile matches in July.
