CALCUTTA: The Indian cricket team will be richer by 75 million rupees (US$1.56 million) if it wins the World Cup in South Africa, board president announced here on Thursday.
“Reaching the semi-final is no mean achievement and therefore the Indian cricket board will pay 18.7 million rupees to the 15 players of the team as reward,” said Dalmiya.
