Non-stop action for fans with more big screens

PETALING JAYA: Eight giant screens around the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) will bring all the excitement of the Malaysian Grand Prix to the spectators, wherever they are seated.

Previously, the organisers had placed seven huge screens but they have added one more this year.

Yesterday, senior manager marketing communication Suhaimi Shamsudin said they wanted to give extra value for ticket holders, who are expected to come in hordes.

“We have placed eight giant screens at different locations for the convenience of our spectators. They can catch the action wherever they are at the circuit,” said Suhaimi.

“The new 30m square screen will be set up facing the spectators at the hillstand C.”

The others are stationed at different parts of the grandstand arena. The screens range in sizes from 25m-56m square.

Suhaimi also reminded the spectators to purchase their race and parking tickets quickly.

“In the last few days, there are long queues at our tickets counters. We advise the fans to obtain their parking tickets early so there will be no confusion on where to park their vehicles. It will certainly prevent congestion during race days.”
