WASHINGTON: Former world heavyweight boxing champion Riddick Bowe, set to begin an 18-month prison sentence on Friday for abducting his ex-wife, faces new assault charges against his current wife.
Bowe faces four counts of second-degree assault in connection with a Saturday incident at his home with wife Terri in suburban Fort Washington, Maryland. He was released on US$50,000 bond pending an April court date.
