Ewe Hock's band of discards turn heat on national shuttlers

PETALING JAYA: The Ong Ewe Hock-led band of shuttlers have emerged a real threat to those in the national team. And the competition they will provide is seen as a positive sign for the better of the sport in the sport in the country. 

Boosted by a one-year sponsorship from car distributors Naza Kia, veteran Ewe Hock and several other players, who were dropped from the national squad last month, took centre stage in the Selangor Open, which ended last Sunday.
