BERLIN: German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin confirmed on Monday that they would write a letter to Portuguese club Boavista apologising for the behaviour of some of their players after last week’s UEFA Cup fourth round defeat.
After losing the first leg in Berlin, Boavista scored late in the return match to win 1-0 and advance to the next round. Several Berlin players became involved in an altercation with Boavista players after the goal was scored.
