BERLIN: Michael Ballack responded to a 20,000-euro fine for criticising Bayern Munich coach Ottmar Hitzfeld by scoring both the goals in their 2-0 win at Energie Cottbus yesterday.
Bayern retained their ten-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga after Ballack found the target with a 33rd minute header from Bixente Lizarazu's cross and a 58th minute shot following Giovane Elber's headed flick-on.
