MALACCA: A devastating 15-minute spell resulting in four goals was enough to deflate Gemencheh's SK Datuk Taha's stout resistance as Division Two favourites Malacca Municipal Council (MMC) romped home to a 6-l win at the Bukit Serendit Stadium yesterday evening.
It had been expected to be a touch-and-go affair. But it stayed that way only in the first half, when MMC could only manage a 1-0 lead through a Nazmi Kamarudin strike in the fourth minute. He stole past the visitors' slipshod defence to beat goalkeeper V. Ramchandran from close range.
