WASHINGTON: Freddy Adu, a 13-year-old from Ghana who received a United States passport earlier this month, has become the youngest football player ever named to a US team for an international competition.
The gifted teen striker will play for the US Under-17 squad which begins world championship regional qualifying on March 5 in Guatemala.
