KUALA LUMPUR: Mon Redee Sut Txi created history in the Asian Archery circuit in Bangkok last week when she became the first Malaysian women to win a gold medal in the Olympic event.
The 21-year-old Mon Redee, who is of Thai origin and hails from Pengkalan Hulu in Grik, defeated a Myanmar archer in the final to win the gold in the opening leg of the Asian circuit.
