Upsets galore as seeds tumble in Mexican and Danish meets


COPENHAGEN: Top seed Jarkko Nieminen of Finland was knocked out of the US$400,000 Copenhagen Open on Monday in the first round by Belgium's Olivier Rochus, who won in two quick sets 6-3, 6-2. 

Defending champion Lars Burgmuller of Germany opened the main draw tournament by defeating Austrian Jurgen Melzer 6-4, 6-4.
