DUBAI: Tim Henman, the man who is hoping to make a surge back up the top ten after a shoulder operation, was beaten in the first round for the second week in a row and is still waiting for his first win for four months.
The fourth-seeded Briton came within two points of a straight sets victory in the Dubai Open but then slipped to a 5-7, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 defeat to Attila Savolt, a Hungarian ranked outside the top hundred who had not had a win in four attempts this year.
