RIO DE JANEIRO: Brazil's veteran striker Romario could be joining a club in the Middle East after the president of Fluminense, his present team, threatened to cut his much-publicised privileges, Brazilian media said on Friday.
Local media reports said the 37-year-old striker – who has played only three games this year since renewing his contract – had received a US$1.5 million offer to play for 100 days with an undisclosed team in the Middle East.
