LONDON: Chelsea manager Claudio Ranieri has added his voice to the clamour for a curb on international friendlies during the domestic season after discovering he would be without captain Marcel Desailly for another two weeks with an ankle injury.
The French international centre back sustained the injury playing for his country in a friendly against the Czech Republic on Feb 12, and missed last week's FA Cup victory over Stoke City.
