BATU KAWAN: The Penang midfield hit it right and the Panthers got back to their winning ways when they edged Kedah 2-1 defeat in the Premier I clash at the State Stadium in Batu Kawan last night.
Midfielder R. Suresh Kumar and Zailani Jaafar struck with a goal apiece in the 56th and 67th minutes and although Kedah fought back to narrow the deficit through former Penang player Ooi Hoe Guan, the hosts did enough to earn maximum points.
