JOHOR BARU: It will be an eventful weekend for coaching and technical director Ronald Smith as the Australian plots Johor FC's match strategies for the battle of clubs against newly promoted Malacca Telekom in tonight's Premier I match at the Stadium Hang Tuah in Malacca.
Tomorrow, Smith will fly off to Sydney on a dual mission - to pay his last respects to his close buddy, former Australian national coach Eddie Thompson, 55, who died of cancer yesterday morning in Sydney. Then, Smith will be moving house – back to Canberra from Sydney.
