PETALING JAYA: After the euphoria of winning the All-England men's singles through Mohd Hafiz Hashim, Malaysian badminton came back to earth with a thump at the Swiss Open when the entire Malaysian challenge was wiped out in the third round.
None of the three men's singles survived the third round matches while Malaysia's sole doubles representatives Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah also bit the dust in the last 16.
