PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's All-England men's singles champion Mohd Hafiz Hashim leapfrogged 15 places to No 16 in the world and is now staking a strong claim for a place in the World Championships from May 12-18 in Birmingham.
Yesterday, the International Badminton Federation (IBF) announced the number of qualifiers for the world meet based on world ranking, which was released on Feb 20.
