Henman falls at first hurdle in Rotterdam


ROTTERDAM: A patched-up Tim Henman failed his first test after three months off injured yesterday, losing 6-4, 6-2 to Croatian Ivan Ljubicic in the first round of the World Indoor Tournament. 

Russia's Yevgeny Kafelnikov celebrated his 29th birthday in style, however, blasting Spain's Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 6-0 while top seed Juan Carlos Ferrero finally ended his Rotterdam first round jinx with a battling 7-6, 7-6 win over Australian Wayne Arthurs.
