LONDON: A superb solo goal from Harry Kewell gave Leeds United a 2-1 victory over an aggrieved Crystal Palace side yesterday, sending the Premier League side into the quarter-finals of the English FA Cup.
Eighteen minutes from time, Kewell, who also scored in Australia’s 3-1 victory over England on Wednesday, ghosted past defenders Hayden Mullins and Darren Powell before planting the ball past Palace goalkeeper Cedric Berthelin with a deft stroke of his left foot.
