TOKYO: Japan are set to cancel two friendlies in the United States next month due to security concerns, Japanese football chief Saburo Kawabuchi said yesterday.
Earlier this week, the chairman of the Japan Football Association (JFA) had said that the matches against Uruguay and the US could be scrapped if Washington led a military strike against Iraq.
