SAN DIEGO (California): Tiger Woods said he accepted an apology on Wednesday from golf rival Phil Mickelson after an unpleasant remark about Woods’ “inferior” equipment.
“We all know Phil can try and be a smart aleck at times,” said Woods. “I think this was one of those instances where it just backfired on him.”
