PETALING JAYA: Denmark's Peter Gade-Christensen is Europe's best bet to break Asian players' domination of the men's singles event in the All-England competition, which starts today at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham.
Since Gade-Christensen won the title in 1999, Asian players have ruled the men's singles events. China's Xia Xuanze and Chen Hong won it in 2000 and 2002 while India's P. Gopichand reigned surpreme in 2001.
