KARLSTAD (Sweden): Peugeot's Marcus Gronholm showed why he is the world champion by winning three straight events at the second leg of the Swedish Rally to hold onto first place on Saturday.
The Finn won the Lejen, Vargasen and Torntorp races and tied for first with compatriot Tommi Makinen, Briton Richard Burns and Spaniard Carlo Sainz in the Fredriksberg race after a crash between Peugeot stablemates Harri Rovanpera and Juuso Pykalisto.
