ROME: Goals from striker Antonio Cassano and Brazilian midfielder Emerson gave AS Roma a 2-1 win over city rivals Lazio in the first leg of their Italian Cup semi-final on Wednesday.
The result leaves Lazio, who were the “home” team for the first leg at their shared Olympic Stadium, facing an uphill struggle to qualify for the final, with away goals counting double.
