FAP in all-out push to sell tickets

PENANG: The FA of Penang are determined to fill the 40,000-capacity State Stadium when they open their M-League campaign with the Charity Shield clash against Selangor. 

To that end, they have set up ticketing centres on the mainland. On the island, the tickets will be available at the FAP office in Jalan Scotland. 

FAP secretary Mohd Junid Mohd Noor said yesterday they had appointed sports shops as well as individuals to help push the sale of tickets. 

The centres, from Simpang Ampat to Sungai Dua, are: Jamni Sports Sdn Bhd, G-77-A Megamall Pinang, 2828 Jalan Batu Bandar Prai Jaya (Tel: 019-5425522), Mohd Murad Malek, Cergas Aktif Enterprise, 19 Lorong 5/2, Bandar Tasek Mutiara, (013-4890763). 

Idrus Endaud, 781 Kampong Pertama, Permatang Pauh (013-4384590), Ong Eng Hua, NT Sports & Stationery Enterprise, 5 Lorong Serindit, Taman Sentosa (012-4755027) and Sabri Said, Ultra Nusa, No 30 Lorong 9, Taman Desa Murni (04-3561546). 

Tickets are priced at RM10 (adults) and RM5.00 (children).
