Genesan still enthusiastic despite crash

BUKIT JALIL: A road accident two weeks ago did not stop S. Genesan, the country's top long distance runner, from showing up for the Malaysia Amateur Athletics Union (MAAU) orientation programme geared towards the 2003 SEA Games and 2006 Asian Games here yesterday.

The 32-year-old Genesan, who had bruises on his arms and face, was one of 68 athletes invited by the MAAU to attend the five-day orientation programme.
