DUBLIN: Newly-appointed Republic of Ireland manager Brian Kerr appeared to offer exiled former captain Roy Keane a way back into the team yesterday.
The Manchester United midfielder was sent home after a furious row with previous national manager Mick McCarthy ahead of last year’s World Cup in Asia, an incident many believe played a major part in the coach’s eventual axing.
