Shalin on course to retain national Masters crown

SUBANG: Asia's top woman bowler Shalin Zulkifli stayed on course to retain her national title when she blazed the lanes to finish ahead of the field after the first block of the women's Masters Finals in the National Championships at the Pyramid Mega Lanes here yesterday.

The reigning Asian Bowling Tour Grand Slam Finals champion, who took a short break by skipping the inter-state championships, came back re-charged, knocking down impressive lines of 279-219-226-234-247-213-216-223 for a total score of 1,857 pins to lead the 12-member fray.
