MOSCOW: A struggling Russian Premier League club has launched a bid to sign up British football star Paul Gascoigne which could mean him moving to chilly Siberia.
Torpedo-ZIL, who were bought up by Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel last month and has started a major overhaul of their lacklustre team, sent a letter on Thursday to Gascoigne’s London agent inquiring into the cost of his transfer.
