KUALA LUMPUR: Youngster Lee Chong Wei put up a sparkling show to march into his first ever men’s singles semi-finals in the National Grand Prix Finals at the Selangor BA Hall in Kampung Attap here yesterday.
The 21-year-old Chong Wei upset Sairul Amar Ayob 17-14, 15-7 to emerge as the Group B champion. It was Chong Wei’s second win against Sairul after his success in the quarter-finals of the Kelantan Open in 2001.
