PARIS: Doubt-riddled Olympique Lyon demolished Sochaux 4-1 at home to boost their morale and return to the top of the French first division on Wednesday.
Lyon, who have only the championship left to go for after being knocked out of all European and domestic cup competitions, took over from Olympique Marseille at the head of the table.
