KUALA LUMPUR: Former champions Perak scored a crucial win yesterday in their battle for a place in the semi-final of the National Under-21 hockey tournament. They defeated Malacca 1-0 in a Group A match at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil here.
Both teams needed a win to stay in the race and Perak got the full points – thanks to a solo effort by Fazreen Ehsan in the 42nd minute.
