LIVERPOOL: Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock was furious with the match referee and an alleged spitting incident involving Liverpool’s Stephane Henchoz after his side made their English League Cup semi-final exit on Tuesday.
Liverpool came back from their 2-1 first leg defeat to win 2-0 on the night after Michael Owen added their second in extra time, El Hadji Diouf having scored after nine minutes.
