PETALING JAYA: The national football team have made significant progress in the FIFA world rankings by moving up 20 rungs to 107th spot following their commendable performance in the Asean Football Federation's (AFF) Tiger Cup tournament last month.
Thailand, the champions of the tournament, moved up 12 rungs to 54th. Runners-up Indonesia are in 84th spot from 110th while Vietnam, who beat Malaysia 2-1 to finish third, are up 15 rungs at 93rd.
