PETALING JAYA: Southpaw Lai Kin Ngoh gave Penang a rousing start to the 16th inter-state bowling championships with victory in the women's singles event at the Pyramid Mega Lanes in Subang yesterday.
Less than 24 hours after arriving from Singapore, the Asian Bowling Tour Grand Slam Finals runner-up showed no sign of fatigue and she blazed the lanes to chalk up a six-game score of 1,246.
