SINGAPORE: The success of Wendy Chai and Shalin Zulkifli in lifting the season-opening Singapore Open and 2002 Aviva Asian Bowling Tour Grand Slam Finals titles respectively are strong indications that Malaysia mean business when they host the FIQ World Championships for the first time in September.
There is no doubt that the target for the Malaysian bowlers is to win honours in the World Championships. And their success to win the back-to-back competitions in Singapore will certainly put them in good stead to challenge the world's best.
