ROME: League leaders AC Milan showed their fighting spirit by coming from behind to edge Piacenza 2-1 at the San Siro yesterday to keep their place at the top of the table in Italy.
Milan, chasing their 17th championship, have 39 points from 17 matches, three more than Lazio who moved up a place to second after beating Udinese by the same scoreline at the Stadio Olimpico.
