MANCHESTER: Peter Schmeichel has hinted he will sign a new one-year contract with English Premier League side Manchester City and continue playing past his 40th birthday.
The former Danish international’s current deal runs out in the close season, but manager Kevin Keegan has already confirmed he wants the goalkeeper to stay at Maine Road.
