'Clumsy' and 'weak' Gascoigne fails to impress in China


BEIJING: Former England international Paul Gascoigne, who is in China to find a club willing to take him, has so far impressed no one, pulling off a “weak” and “clumsy” performance, state media said. 

Gascoigne, known as Gazza, is on southern tropical Hainan island practising with First Division club Liaoning Bodao, but an exhibition match this week proved a disaster, the Beijing Youth Daily said.
