LONDON: Charlton Athletic have demanded a replay of their English Premier League game at Chelsea last Saturday because of the poor state of the Stamford Bridge pitch.
Charlton lost 4-1 on a playing surface almost entirely covered in sand, something the club claimed was against Premier League rules that state a game cannot be played on an artificial pitch.
