SINGAPORE: Ryder Cup star Thomas Bjorn, who has a reputation of having beaten world No. 1 Tiger Woods in head-to-head duels, has signed up to play in the US$900,000 Caltex Masters in Singapore next week.
Bjorn, 12th on the European Tour rankings last season when he won the BMW International Open in Germany, joins South African Ernie Els in Singapore for the event, which is jointly sanctioned by the European and Asian PGA Tours.
